First Runner Up

For those of you who are dying to know what other projects were submitted for the six month anniversary; here it is!

These are crochet Converse style booties. Here is the cool thing about these - they can be booties or soft sole shoes for the toddlers in your life. The color options are endless! Check out the baby page for order information.

My Grandma's Hands

When I was in fourth grade, quite awhile ago I know, my step dad had started doing something I did not know how to do. I was lucky enough to visit my Grandma Rosier that next weekend and found out what he was doing was called crochet.

My fascination with crochet became an obsession. My dear grandmother was patient enough to teach a 10 year old how to crochet. She had an extraordinary talent for more than just crocheting, but that will come later.

As my life continued we had an opportunity to live with my grandma for a couple of years. In those years my love for crochet grew and so did my skill level. My grandma would share patterns, stitches, and help me figure out a pattern or two I did not understand.

My dear Grandma Rosier has since passed away leaving me to carry on the legacy of her talent. I was blessed enough to inherit her crochet hooks. These hooks contain years of experience I will never be able to match, but hopefully they have some tricks to help me as I continue.
